Causa Justa: Just Cause
Provides free tenant counseling and case management for low-income residents of San Francisco through their Housing Committee/Tenants’ Rights Clinic. They do not have attorneys on staff, but can give you advice regarding your general rights as a tenant in San Francisco.

EMERGENCY HOUSING

Compass Connecting Point
The Central City Access Point is an entry point for families experiencing homelessness, providing problem solving, screening for shelter and housing programs and information and referral. Their Family Resource Center addresses family well-being via support group and parent education classes, parent-child interactive group and family activities. They also provide job readiness services and childcare placement and case management.

Hamilton Family Emergency Center
Hamilton Shelter Program in the Tenderloin provides safe shelter, three meals a day and critical social services to 50 families a night for up to six months.
Hamilton Transitional Housing houses and supports up to 25 families at high risk for chronic homelessness for 6 to 18 months. Families receive intensive social services to identify and address factors contributing to their homelessness.
Hamilton Housing Solutions prevents homelessness whenever possible and assists families who have become homeless with housing search assistance, temporary rent assistance, case management, job search and other services for up to 18 months to help them find and retain a permanent home.
Children’s Services are integrated throughout all our programs, providing therapeutic support and enrichment activities to strengthen children’s resiliency, promote academic success and enhance the parent-child bond.

Bayview Access Point
Helps prevent homelessness and provide shelter for people have have been displaced meanwhile providing child care on site.  Services available include:
Homeless Prevention Services: Homelessness Prevention staff are on site to assist with intakes and assessments for eligibility for rental assistance and applications
Housing stability: Assessment and linkage to legal referrals for housing and employment barriers
Housing problem solving: Case managers will work with clients to problem solve options and opportunities for housing.
Shelter and housing program placement: Case managers will assist clients with determining eligibility for shelter and housing placement
On-site childcare: Childcare is available for clients during their meetings with case managers at the Access Point Community Outreach

Not a shelter, but a drop in center for women and children, no reservations. 
One night stay only for families; families will be encouraged to access other family shelters after the first night. Families are in a separate area from single adult females. No men are allowed.
